Just got home from a fab 4 day Ulysses ride around Victoria, Sale Lakes Entrance Omeo Hotham Wangaratta and Mansfield. tried to meet up with Willy, but couldn't co-ordinate it.
10 of us, just a lot of fun and good company. Got a number of comments at different places from people noticing the cx and bringing back their memories.

It's a nice sunny day, after an afternoon nap I'm strapping my panniers on and heading to town.  Picking up brake shoes from Minis Man, get my heat shields back from QP, then into Melbourne to see a show with a mate... then probably find somewhere to kip for a few hours before heading back home... it'll be good to get some wind in the face again, been stuck inside most of this past week

Just finished painting the rear deck this morning (about 27 square metres).

I took advantage of the extra daylight hour that daylight savings gives us southerners, and I cleaned the rear deck with my high pressure washer after work on Thursday.

When I purchased the cabots decking oil during the week I also purchased a decking oil mop and it is so much quicker. With over 65 square metres of decking to do every little bit helps happy0158

This afternoon I will clean the front deck and then maybe paint it one evening this week after work

Also out in the yard getting the place cleaned up for the inspection on tuesday (stuff renting!) and to have it up to scratch for the family who are all visiting tomorrow for the little fella's 7th birthday.

Three days of great weather in a row and no bike time!  2sad

Spotted this in the main street of Swansea on the east coast of Tassie last Monday........

Check the number plate, picture quality is probably not good enough but the plate is Vic "HRD 888".

That's put together by an engineering company in Hallam, near Dandenong. Victoria.  K (something) engineering, but I can't remember the second initial off-hand.  I did a trouble shooting job for their copier supplier a few years back & they showed me the setup.

Super professional.  Totally automated lathes & exacting machinery.

They make a pretty much brand new replica of the Vincent motorcycle & add the original designers name to the front. (Irving).

It can often be seen at historic races.   It looks superb  2smitten 2smitten

It probably got too big for default settings.

None the less.  Yesterday I had to forsake motorcycling for Xmas lights.  happy0158

They look pretty good, but it's a good days work.

Just picked my bike up from the mechanics and it's running really well.
He told me he couldn't believe how heavy it is.........it makes his Suzuki waterbottle feel like a Postie bike!

Might be weight distribution. I think the GT750 would outweigh a CX, at least by a little.
