Which left?  2funny

Hey Harold.  I am going to Cowra.  It's a last minute plan for me, as I didn't think I'd make it with other committments.

I have a little work to finish on the CX, but it is looking good.

cheers

Thanks for the info Harold, but my committments will have me riding up on Saturday.

Thanks Biker Chik.  I will indeed.  The trip will be much of the adventure & hopefully smooth sailing.  And safe-ish adventure is the attraction for me.

I know these bikes are bulletproof, but I've had heaps to fix on mine.

If she makes it, I'll see you all late on Saturday.  If I leave here at 8am, I should get to Cowra at midnight  happy0065

If she dosn't make it, sell then I'll push her back to Healsville & collect it at the vjmc rally. cool0010

cheers

Hey Ian.  You'll be right mate!  Just take it easy on the old girl - don't try and ride at 200kph all the way there :)

Jen and I are leaving 2moro and going to Mildura then heading up to Cowra on Friday - expect to get there around 2 or 3 depending on how late we sleep in Friday :)  See you there mate.

See you Saturday (night)

P.S. I'll try & bring a sleeping bag, but a spare in the car could be a bonus if the travel is wet.

Made it home at last, cage and CX all intact.  Next time will ride the CX.  Total distance 6,500 Kms in 17 days.  Cowra was by far the best motor cycle meet I have been to and the company was wonderfull, even the 500 riders were far above expectations.  Thanks all and especially the organisers.  As it turned out we were back at Cowra on the Thursday when traveling from Canberra to Conabarabran.

"Rest up" no way, many more new things to do and a CX650 wreck to bring up to going condition without SHMBO finding out.
Thanks all for your good wishes.

Yes the Paul Kelly was wonderfull, yet to play the Zappa.  All my Zappa records went missing in one of my house moves but thats how it goes.  Hope the parts are usefull as they were moldering in the tropics with the tip as their eventual destination.

Hope the parts for the other riders keep some of these amazing machines going.  It was wonderfull to ride with a line of CX's in country that I drove 40 years ago in an underpowered PMG (Telstra) Holden.  These Holdens were modified to 7:1 compression and 80 octane fuel so that the staff could not steal the petrol, but thats all another story.

My two sons are into Zappa jnr music.  He apparently plays his fathers songs under the heading "Zappa plays Zappa"

They reckon it's brilliant.  happy0065
