Back on the road

After 11 years off the road due to failures and 6 years in storage while I was overseas swanning around, the old Turbo is now running and registered again.  Goes like a train.  Replacement heads, new cam chain, stator, brake lines etc.  It's amazing what you have time to do when you're retired.  Winter work still to do:
.  it runs a little dodgy under 3000 rpm so I will replace boost sensor, might replace P1 as well
.  fast idle when cold not working so will rebuild the air valve over winter
.  will probably put brake master cylinder kits in front and rear
.  the fairing is a little untidy so might get some paint work done
.  will need a new front tyre as well

But all in all, very happy with the old girl.

Might try to catch up in 2021 sometime, maybe a mini CX Rally is in order.

One more winter problem to solve.  The fuel gauge goes from full to 3/4 full normally then drops to empty, rheostat issues I expect.  Interestingly the Reserve light doesn't come on.  More reading to do.

I got a Unifilter recently to replace the one in my Turbo that completely fell apart when I touched it.

The original Honda filter is no longer available
