Couldn't help but admire this particular rendition. Seen at a Lion's Club event in the Adelaide Hills today

Does not look too bad. Certainly is a “bitsa” though.

650 engine, dual pot calipers from a 1982 Shadow or Euro or 650. Frame, side covers and tank from a Shadow etc.

Very good work and a good eye for detail and I suspect a lot of money spent too.

Hi Guys

The photo above is of my CX500 originally a deluxe model single spine
I swapped the CX500 motor for a CX650
The front end is off a Kawasaki ZX6R
The wheels came from Cogneto Moto
I built the seat myself and got it upholstered
She goes like a rocket and handles and brakes really nice

You can check out the whole evolution of this bike on my YouTube channel

Probably not a “Deluxe” unless it was imported from the USA (which was the only country that had the Deluxe model).

If it was an Australian model it was known as a “Shadow” which had different gauges to the USA Deluxe model.

That's interesting Seagrass

Then my bike originally was a Shadow I thought it was a Deluxe because of the information on the "Moto Faction" site. They only mentioned Deluxe, Custom and Euro. and my engine number and specs seemed to be Deluxe

Cheers
