Revs dropping slowly

Hi Gurus
The resto on the 1980 CX500 Custom is just about complete.
It runs nice but the revs drop very slowly when the throttle is backed off.
The throttle cable and mechanism on the carb is all good. It snaps back really well.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Hanging idle can be an indicator of a lean mixture. Check your plugs.

Leaks at intake manifolds is another common cause, this will create a lean mixture.
