I've just gotten up after the return ride home yesterday.  In fact I got back about 3pm, had dinner and by 6 o'clock I was fast asleep on the couch.  I only woke up to go to bed.  I was buggered.

Now I've got two days to learn a full set of songs for the band I'm now playing in.  Got a gig Thursday night so you won't hear much from me between now and then.

Great seeing you all again!

It was darker when I left Melbourne  lmao lmao lmao

None the less, I fixed up the front wheel binding on the bike tonight.

Taking the axle out & fitting it the other way around moved the "Disk too close to the calliper bracket" problem to the other side. Still too close really.

But in turning the axle around, I could now grind a few mm from the spacer on the axle & solve the issue completely.  It was only about 2mm all up.

And that's exactly what I did.  The front wheel on the Turbo is now centre & has the same clearance between the calliper brackets & the disks on both sides.

I'll get a chance to ride it again on the weekend to hopefully feel the benefit  cool0010

Attached are a couple of images.  One shows the effect of heat on the Penetrol that I had painted the spacer with & the other shows it re-polished again. (Must paint that again before it rusts.  :grandpa:
