Kathy, You may not have noticed it, but a number of your postings are coming up without any text or attachment.
What gives?
Is it my computer's settings, maybe?

The content of those messages is scrolling text and I've confirmed that I can see it using the same browser as you (ie, IE8).  I'll turn off the scrolling just for you  2wink

I believe that I am to be in Oberon on the Sunday 15th on a day ride with my local bike club (BBC aka 'Bundanoon Bike Club').  We are visiting the 'Mayfield Gardens' open garden exhibition.  Bound to spot some of you guys on the ride home in the afternoon!

Mike there is a good possibilty that the Sunday ride for the CX/GL rally will also be to Oberon so maybe the groups could meet up

G'day all, Im a "newbie" from the Central Coast.
Is there any sort of a schedule (rough or not) for the weekend?
I'm visiting relatives in the Blue Mountains over the weekend and wouldn't mind dropping in to introduce myself, meet you and your rides at some stage over the weekend.
Regards
Mark

Once the routes for the Saturday and Sunday rides are finalised (we'll try and have this done before Easter) the details will be posted here.

Is there going to be a night ride this year? It's something different that I enjoyed last year.

I don't know - I'll try and find out if there are any lookouts nearby that are worth a night-time visit.

Anyone else travelling up from Sydney for the day on the Saturday?  I'm keen to head up for a look and a ride but wouldn't mind some company on the ride up and back.

Cheers

Steve,

Yes I am intending to ride on the Saturday  - up and back - possibly with member Salty, we both live in the Penrith area, would you like to meet up somewhere ?

I would think we would ride straight up the Great Western Highway - depends on the time we need to arrive in Bathurst as to when we might leave Penrith.

I haven't had time this week to finalise the details of the rides for the rally (although the planning is well underway).

However, at this stage the Saturday ride is likely to be Heritage Hills to Hill End via Mount Panorama and Blayney (approx 240 kms).  The proposed morning tea stop is at Blayney and the lunch stop will be at the pub at Hill End.  Fuel will be available at Blayney (approx 48kms from start) and in Bathurst (approx 90kms from start)

The Sunday ride is likely to be Heritage Hills to Oberon (for morning tea) returning via Tarana and Tarana Road (approx 117 kms).

I'll be busy over the Easter break with my family so I'll post final details early next week.

I'll get in touch after Easter but I'm keen to meet up and ride with you guys, I was going to do the Bells Line (I'm at Hornsby) but happy to go through Katoomba if it means I have some company for the trip  happy0158
