hello Gurus
I hope you are all well
what should be applied to the thread of the temperature sending unit (it is in the thermostat housing).  the manual nominates a British product three bond No 1212. is there an Australian equivalent
Also will any rubber tubing do for the bi pass hose (5mm) .

I've always used brush on aviation permatex for that and 6 mm fuel line for the bypass.

sorry just one quick question is the permatex the same as the loctite 5923 aviation sealant.  I've used this on gaskets but not on threads.
