Hi ive just bought an 83 cx650e, for $400 complete but needs engine work, have owned several jap multis & 5 Harleys,yes I was a sick ••••••• but hopefully sweet little cx will cure me of my digressing to the dark side,LOL, what got me onto the 650 was a loan of a mates cx500 & riding it to Casterton from Cranbournne & back (Thanks GAZZA) These midrange Honda's are great

After living in Perth for the last two years my girlfriend and I tied the knot and I've officially emmigrated from Canada. One of the things I've brought with me is my 83 CX 650E. I bought this bike in Sept 83 and have held on to it for all these past 26 years. Unfortunately I haven't ridden it much and it was actually off the road for about ten year prior to leaving Vancouver for Perth. Just before leaving I sorted the brakes (which were seizing up), put in a new battery, and mounted new tires. With things now in good shape I took her out for a run for the first time this century. Man, I'd forgotten how great it was to ride. That beautiful torque that lengthens your arms as you twist open the throttle and hear the exhaust pulses rise in frequency pasted a smile all over my face. Can't wait to get her off the dock at Freo and in my garage.
