Hi Folks,

I bought a brand new black/red CX500 Shadow in 1980 and married a red/black 1979 CX500 owner in 1980 (we even went on our honeymoon on a CX500).  I currently own a metallic blue 1980 CX500 Shadow and a metallic black 2006 NT700V Deauville.

I've been into collecting all things CX and GL for many years and now have a rather impressive collection of road test articles, brochures, workshop manuals and even some rare promotional photos and literature!!

In order to finance this hobby (and many eBay purchases) I work as a Unix systems administrator.  I started dabbling in creating websites a couple of years ago (I'm currently the webmaster for the Australian GoldWing Association) and, as the person who originally established the MSN Group in July 2002, I thought I'd have a go at setting up a website for the Australian CX500 & CX650 Register.

Enjoy!!

Hi Taffy,

Nah - it's a public site with no membership requirements/restrictions (AGA).

Must have us confused with one of the other GoldWing clubs!!

Hi Kathy,
I am a late commer but I have also collected some CX bits and pieces and I was wondering if you have any of the articles from the English magazine  "Motor Cycle Sport"?  I have scanned about 100 pages of articles dating from Jan 1978 to May 1964 from this magazine.  I also have the Setup Manual for CX400-500 Euro.  I would like to send a copy of the material to you if they would add to your collection.

Hi Kathy. I am fairly new to this forum and I must say I am very impressed with it. I have never seen such a resourse for our kind of motorcycles. Keep up the good work.
